Another stunning day in Argyll.
We left Inveraray and headed down the A83 towards Campbeltown.
For those of you who are “unfamiliar” with this area, its not just a few miles from Glasgow to Campbeltown because it looks like that on a map, its around a 3 hour drive, taking in some spectacular scenery on mainly single lane roads without even a dual carriageway.
We had a lovely visit with Rhona and the team at NFU in Campeltown. They were happy to see us and shocked at how fast the last year has gone since we last met.
It was a great visit especially when we received very positive feedback from one of their customers who suffered a burst pipe last week. He told staff that he was “very impressed with the work our Technicians carried out at his home and it is clear to him why we have the word restoration on our vans”. Our staff were delighted to receive the great feedback.
We left Campbeltown and headed to Oban. Thankfully the great weather held up and the only downside was trying to take pictures of this stunning scenery to share with you due to the low sun glare. The temperature never got above 5 degrees and often fell to 0 at various parts of the journey due to the remoteness.
We then headed to Oban to see Mary and the team at NFU. Mary also advised that they are very happy with the service we have provided to their customers throughout the year. We also discussed the logistical challenges we both face in the areas we serve and how fortunate we are that our customers and the insurers appreciate this.
We headed back to the hotel in Inveraray to prepare for the next leg of our journey north to the next customer….watch this space.
To be continued….
